Most people are running a profile stitched together from shots taken for something else entirely, usually a wedding they went to.
That's most people who book, honestly. You're the one taking the photos at every birthday, so there's none of you. Start with a call. We chat about what you get up to around San Antonio, tacos, a Spurs game, the coffee shop you basically live in, and I plan the shots from there. You show up, I do the rest.

I come to you. I drive down from Austin and we sort out the locations on the call, so the day's already planned before I pull up. It's a fair drive, so there's a flat $150 travel fee on top of the $799. Just tick the San Antonio box at checkout. One photographer, start to finish. Whoever you spoke to on the phone is the person holding the camera, and that's me.
Wherever you actually go. Into basketball? We'll find a court. Got a coffee shop you're in three times a week? We'll shoot there. If you want somewhere to start, the Pearl gives you clean light and it's walkable, Southtown and King William have that laid-back neighbourhood feel, and Brackenridge Park's there if you want something outdoorsy. None of it's locked in, and I always spot stuff on the day.
Honestly? We have a really good time. It kicks off with a phone call about what you're actually into, then I'll text you the shortlist whether you book or not. Once you book, the facial coaching video lands so you're not seeing it for the first time on the day. When I show up we just talk for a bit, then we practise the coaching in front of a mirror, shoot indoors while you're warming up, and then get outside and go do the stuff you like. Three to four hours, up to seven outfits, and yeah, stopping for a beer somewhere counts as a location. Gallery lands in three to five days.
Look, your mate's great, but the gap's direction. Your mate will take a photo of you, which isn't the same as getting you to look like yourself on a good day. That's what the coaching's for. You also walk away with a set that actually works together instead of six goes at the same pose in the same shirt.
